AR Rahman-Saira Banu Divorce: People are shocked by the news of separation of AR Rahman and Saira Banu after 29 years of marriage. People felt equally strange when Rehman wrote a post on the news of his separation from Saira and also used a hashtag below it. Their lawyer and well-known divorce lawyer Vandana Shah spoke on ABP News about the reasons behind Rehman and Saira’s separation and all the controversies.
Vandana Shah said that like common people, the reasons for divorce of famous people are also the same. When asked the reason behind Rehman and Saira Banu’s decision to separate, they cited privacy. He said that something must have happened between the two due to which they took such a decision.
‘The divorce has not happened yet. He is still married’
Vandana told ABP News that there is no divorce between the two yet and both of them have decided to separate from each other due to not being able to resolve their differences. He said- ‘First of all, let me clear that the divorce has not happened yet. He is still married. We had issued a joint statement that things were not going well and there was a gap between the two which they were unable to cross. That is why they have to end their marriage. We have not said anywhere that divorce has taken place or that we have started the process.

The news of connection between Mohini Dey and Rahman was declared baseless.
After the announcement of separation from AR Rahman, bassist Mohini Dey, associated with his musical troupe, posted about her separation from her husband just a few hours later, Vandana has started linking the two, in such a situation, Vandana has denied any kind of relationship between the two. He also denied it happening and called people’s speculations baseless. He also talked about taking care of the privacy of both the parties.
